Life is like……

I bet most of you reading that title will have automatically filled in the rest of that sentence with “….a box of chocolates.  You never know what you are going to get”.  The famous line from Forest Gump.  I agree that life can be like a box of chocolates but with the little bit of paper in with them that tells you what they are you can make an informed choice.  This theory on life is a very valid one in life we have many choices, aka. chocolates.  You can choose to just dive in a live with what you get.  You can pick one that looks good, have a nibble and put it back if it’s not for you.  Or you could use the guide to help you choose one you may like.

There are of course other views on what life is like.

I read another thought on life and that is “Life is a pizza.  The best things in life come with chewy dried tomatoes and olives.  There’s no point moaning.  Just pick them off, or swallow them down as fast as you can, and then sink your teeth into what’s left and relish every bite.”  as said by Richard Templar.  There are always going to be things in life that we don’t like and we have little or no control over them, but we can control what we do about them.

My personal theory on life is that it is like crochet.  Sometimes it can be hard to see how who a ball of wool can be turned into anything more than a scarf, but with some belief and hard work it can be made into almost anything.  Other times what you may feel like you are getting no where and the pieces you’ve made could never make the end product you want, but if you just concentrate on one bit at a time in the end every thing will all come together and be ok.

It turns out that there are lots of theories on what life is like, writing this inspired me to Google it and here are some of the other theories that I found.

These are just the ones I like the best.

Thank you for reading.  Now it’s time to figure out what your life is like.
